Product Overview
The CGS Tool HV243-3750 has a 3/8” diameter, 4-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill, made up for high-performance machining in steels and alloys. It’s set up as part of the Hi-Velocity (HV) Series, so it tends to bring that kind of strength, speed, and precision you want for both roughing, and also finishing jobs.
Built with premium micro-grain carbide, the HV243-3750 has a variable helix plus a variable index geometry, and then there’s the ALTiN coating. That combo helps with heat resistance ,and usually extends tool life when you run it at higher RPM. There’s also a free-cutting concept here, which supports smoother surface finish and better chip evacuation, all while keeping vibration and wear lower allowing machinists to push feeds and speeds even further, without losing accuracy.
