Product Overview
The CGS Tool M2101-UC is a 3mm diameter 2-flute solid carbide square end mill ,made for high speed machining of aluminum, non ferrous metals, plastics, and even composite materials. Part of the 2000 Series Ferocious, it gives you great material removal rates and really solid chip evacuation, plus that consistent cutting behavior you want when the CNC milling work is actually demanding.
Built from premium solid carbide, the M2101-UC uses CGS Tool’s original 55° high helix geometry, tuned to push better chip flow , keep cutting forces lower, and handle more aggressive feeds. With the square end shape it tends to produce clean and accurate cuts which makes it useful for slotting, profiling, pocketing and the more refined finishing type operations. You get a 10mm length of cut, and a 38mm overall length too, and that combo helps rigidity and stability during precision machining. The uncoated cutting edges are optimized for aluminum and other non ferrous materials, so chip evacuation stays efficient and the cutting results stay clean throughout.
