The CGS Tool M2102-UC, is a 4mm diameter 2-flute solid carbide square end mill, made for high speed machining of aluminum and other non ferrous metals, plastics, and even composites. As part of the 2000 Series Ferocious , this tool brings really good cutting efficiency, strong material removal rates, and dependable output on those more demanding CNC milling jobs.
Built from premium solid carbide, the M2102-UC has CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry, sort of tuned to improve chip evacuation, lower cutting forces and back up aggressive feeds. The square end shape gives sharp, accurate cuts, which is handy for slotting, profiling, pocketing, and finishing work. With a 16mm length of cut and a 50mm overall length, it gives decent reach and steadiness while still keeping the machining accuracy you expect. The cutting edges are uncoated and they’re set up to work well in aluminum, plus similar non ferrous material, so the cutting stays smooth and the chips leave the zone efficiently.
