The CGS Tool M2148-UC is a 16mm diameter, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill, kind of, made for high-speed machining on aluminum non ferrous metals plastics and composite materials. As part of the 2000 Series Ferocious, this tool is built to give you strong chip evacuation, fast material removal rates and steady machining results in tough CNC milling situations.
Made from premium solid carbide , the M2148-UC includes CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix shape, that helps maximize chip flow, lowers cutting forces, and also supports aggressive feed rates. The square end geometry gives cleaner accurate cuts which makes it suited for slotting, pocketing, profiling, contouring and final finishing work. You get a 32mm length of cut along with 88mm overall length, so it reaches farther for deeper machining while still keeping rigidity and cutting stability. The uncoated version is tuned for aluminum and other non ferrous materials so you get a clean cutting action and efficient chip evacuation with no coating buildup.
