The CGS Tool M2157-UC is a 20mm diameter 2-flute solid carbide square end mill, built mainly for fast high-speed machining on aluminum , other non-ferrous metals , plastics, and composite materials. As part of the 2000 Series Ferocious, it kind of gives exceptional material removal rates , strong chip evacuation, and dependable milling behavior for tough CNC jobs, where you really need stability.
Made from solid carbide premium stock, the M2157-UC has CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry, it’s engineered to boost chip movement , lower cutting forces, and it supports aggressive feed rates too. The square end format tends to leave clean and precise edges so it works great for slotting, pocketing, profiling , contouring, and finishing. With a 38mm length of cut plus a 100mm overall length, you get extra reach for deeper machining tasks, while still keeping good rigidity and cutting steadiness. The uncoated version is tuned for aluminum and non-ferrous work, helping efficient chip discharge and cleaner cutting results, without coating buildup on the flutes.
