The CGS Tool M2230-UC is a 12mm diameter, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill, made to run high speed machining on aluminum and other non-ferrous metals, also plastics, and some composite stuff. It’s part of the 2000 Series Ferocious, so the whole thing is aimed at chip evacuation that stays steady, high material removal rates, and dependable machining behaviour when you’re doing tough CNC milling work.
It’s manufactured from premium solid carbide. The M2230-UC comes with CGS Tool’s original 55° high helix geometry, which is meant to push chip flow along, lower cutting forces and help with pretty aggressive feed rates.
