The CGS Tool M2250-UC is a 16mm diameter, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill, made for high speed machining on aluminium and other non-ferrous metals, plastics, plus composite materials. As part of the 2000 Series Ferocious, this tool brings a strong chip evacuation, really good material removal rates, and steady machining results for tougher CNC milling work.
Built from top-tier solid carbide, the M2250-UC has CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry, and it is meant to push the chip flow forward and lower the cutting forces too, plus it supports pretty aggressive feed rates. The square end style gives clean, accurate cuts, so it fits slotting, pocketing, profiling, contouring, and finishing jobs without much fuss. It also has an extended 63mm length of cut with a 125mm overall length, which gives it a lot of reach for deep cavity machining, long reach profiling, and those more intricate machining tasks, while still holding up good rigidity and cutting stability. The uncoated setup is tuned for aluminium and non-ferrous materials, which helps with efficient chip evacuation and a cleaner cutting feel during high-speed machining.
