Product Overview
The CGS Tool M2259-UC is a 20mm diameter, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill, made for fast or high speed machining of aluminium, non-ferrous metals, plastics, and even composite materials. It sits in the Ferocious 2000 Series, so it is meant to bring out the best chip evacuation and aggressive metal removal rates, plus that steady machining feel when things get tough on CNC milling. In that series, there is CGS Tool’s original 55° high helix geometry, and it's kind of tuned for high-speed milling with maximum chip load capacity.
Manufactured from premium solid carbide, the M2259-UC uses a high helix flute design, which helps with smoother chip flow, less cutting force, and supports more aggressive feeds and speeds. The square-end geometry gives clean, accurate cuts for slotting, pocketing, profiling, contouring, and finishing, too, not just one kind of cut. Also, it has an extended 90mm length of cut and 150mm overall length, so you get better reach for deep cavity machining, long-reach profiling, and those complicated operations while still keeping stability and cutting efficiency in check.
