Product Overview

The CGS Tool M2266-UC is a 25mm diameter 2 flute solid carbide square end mill, built for high speed machining on aluminium and other non-ferrous metals, plus plastics and composite stuff. As part of the 2000 Series Ferocious, it is meant to give you really nice chip evacuation, faster material removal, and solid machining results when the CNC milling job is actually demanding. The lineup also leans on CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix shape, which is optimized for rapid milling and for holding maximum chip load, pretty consistently.
It’s made from premium solid carbide, and the M2266-UC uses that high helix flute design that kinda helps chip flow stay smooth, cuts down on the cutting forces, and lets you run more aggressive feeds. With the square end geometry, you get clean and accurate cuts for slotting, pocketing, profiling, contouring, and finishing, not just one or two of those. The extended 63mm length of cut and the 125mm overall length give it extra reach for deep cavity machining, long reach profiling, and more complex machining scenarios, while still keeping enough rigidity and cutting stability. Also, the uncoated configuration is tuned for aluminium and non-ferrous materials, so you can expect efficient chip evacuation and clean cutting behavior during those high-speed machining passes.
