Product Overview
The CGS Tool MX740-1000 it’s like a 1” diameter, 4 flutes solid-carbide square end mill made for high-performance machining where you’re dealing with hardened steels, stainless steels, cast iron , titanium Inconel, Hastelloy, and other rare alloys. And since it comes from the VMAX MX740 Series, it basically brings really good machining stability, better-looking surface finishes, and longer tool life too, especially during the tough CNC milling stuff.
Now, the MX740-1000 also includes advanced variable helix, and variable pitch geometry, which does a lot to cut down chatter, and those annoying cutting harmonics, so you get a smoother cut plus a more efficient material removal rhythm. On top of that, the premium nACRo high-performance coating gives strong heat resistance and wear protection. The 4-flute square end shape then supports aggressive milling, and it helps with chip evacuation when you run high-speed machining.
