Product Overview
The CGS Tool MX740-3750 is basically a 3/8” diameter, 4 flute solid-carbide square end mill made for high performance machining jobs where hardened steels are involved, also stainless steels, cast iron, titanium, Inconel, Hastelloy, and other kinda exotic alloys. It comes in the VMAX MX740 Series , and the whole point is to keep things steady during cutting, give better surface looks, and also stretch the tool life when you run demanding CNC milling work day after day.
On the MX740-3750 you get an advanced variable helix combined with variable pitch , which helps tame chatter and those cutting harmonics that can happen when conditions get rough. So you end up with a smoother operation , and usually better material removal efficiency too. There’s also a premium nACRo high performance coating, that gives solid heat resistance and strong wear protection. And because it’s a 4 flute square end design, it supports more aggressive milling , plus it helps with dependable chip evacuation during high speed machining scenarios.
