It is a 2 flute square end mill, and it works really well for super fine slots , tighter geometry, lighter plunge cuts, plus sharp flat-bottom features in the smaller spots where everything has to stay tidy, not sloppy.
The ALTiN coating adds that extra shield against heat and wear so the cutter can keep going with more assurance when the conditions get a little rough.
