The CGS Tool HV140-3754 has a 3/8” diameter, 4-flute solid carbide square end mill made for high-performance machining, especially in steels and different alloys. It’s built on the Hi-Velocity (HV) Series and aims to deliver solid strength, speed, and precision for roughing and finishing jobs.
Made from premium micro-grain carbide, the HV140-3754 includes a variable helix, a variable index-style geometry, and an ALTiN coating to enhance heat resistance and extend tool life, even at high RPM. The free-cutting design helps achieve a better surface finish and improved chip evacuation, while also keeping vibration and wear under better control, allowing machinists to raise the feeds and speeds even more without sacrificing accuracy.
