Product Overview
The CGS Tool 2001 has a 1/8” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill, made to push maximum material removal while keeping surface precision steady, mostly for aluminum, non-ferrous metals and plastics. It’s from the Ferocious Series as it is aimed at machinists who expect high output even working with extreme feed rates.
Made from premium sub-micro grain carbide, the 2001 includes a 55° high helix setup, which helps chip evacuation feel smoother, lowers cutting forces, and gives that clean surface finish. Also, the polished cutting edges and free-cutting geometry help cut down on built-up edges, while still keeping outstanding tool life, even during high-speed CNC use.
