Product Overview
The 2024-S is a 3/8" 2-flute solid carbide square end mill built for shops chasing maximum material removal in aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and plastics. As part of CGS Tool's Ferocious Series, it's designed to hold up under extreme feed rates without losing its edge.
Ground from sub-micro grain carbide, it carries a 55° high helix that keeps chips moving and cutting forces down, which shows up directly in the surface finish. The polished cutting edges paired with the free-cutting geometry work against built-up edge, so tool life stays strong even when the RPMs climb and the job runs long.
