Product Overview
The CGS Tool 2066 has 1” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill, made for maximum material removal, and also surface precision in aluminum, non-ferrous metals and plastics. It comes from the ferocious series and it is meant for machinists who really want high performance at extreme feed rates.
Made with premium sub-micro grain carbide, the 2066 has a 55° high helix, which helps with chip evacuation, keeps cutting forces lower, and gives very clean surface finishes. The polished cutting edges plus a free-cutting geometry help reduce built-up edges while still holding up that exceptional tool life, even when you run high-speed CNC settings.
