Product Overview
The CGS Tool 2069 has a 1” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill. It is made so it can do maximum stock removal while still keeping pretty high surface precision, mostly for aluminum, non-ferrous metals and plastics and it is built from the ferocious series, for machinists who want top notch performance even when they run at extreme feed rates.
Made with premium sub-micro grain carbide, the 2069 comes with a 55° high helix that helps with chip clearing, it lowers cutting loads and it leaves a really clean finish behind. Also, the polished cutting edges and the free-cutting geometry keep the built up edge down quite a bit ,and they also help the tool last longer, even when you throw it into high-speed CNC work, day after day, like it’s nothing.
