Product Overview
The CGS Tool 442-5000 is a 1/2” diameter 4-flute solid carbide ball end mill from the 442 Series, built as a double-ended tool so you effectively get two cutting ends out of one piece of carbide. For shops watching tooling costs, that alone makes it worth a look before reaching for a single-end equivalent.
It carries the same 30° helix and precision CNC manufacturing standard as the rest of CGS Tool's General Purpose range, and the .250” radius ball profile handles contour and 3D surface work cleanly. Uncoated and rated across mild steels, stainless, cast iron, titanium, non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites, it's built to be the reliable, no-drama option in a busy tool crib.
