Product Overview
The CGS Tool 8005-ALTiN is a 1/4" diameter 4-flute solid carbide ball end mill from the 8000 Profile Series, sized for profile, deep pocket, and contour milling where a smaller ball end cutter needs extended reach. Its 6" overall length gives it that added distance.
Built on the same precision CNC equipment as CGS Tool's other general-purpose lines, it holds a 30° helix and a .125" radius matched to its diameter, with an ALTiN coating that helps the cutter hold up better in hotter or more demanding cuts. Rated across mild steels, stainless, cast iron, titanium, non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites, it's good for deep pocket finishing.
