Product Overview
The CGS Tool 822-5000, well, it’s basically a 1/2" diameter, 2-flute solid carbide ball end mill made for those long reach profile jobs. It has a .250" radius, and that a gives you a tidy rounded cutting profile for deeper pocket stuff and curved wall machining too.
And it’s got a 3" length of cut, with a 6" overall length, so this 822 Series cutter gives you extra extension without totally losing control over the ball end cutting. Plus the uncoated carbide body—yeah it makes it pretty workable for normal shop conditions across mild steels, stainless steel, cast iron, titanium, non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites.
