Product Overview

The CGS Tool CR2057.030-S is a 3/4” diameter, 2 flute solid carbide corner radius end mill , built for high speed machining of aluminum, non-ferrous metals, plastics , and composite materials. And, as part of the CR2000 Series Ferocious it provides really exceptional cutting performance, better edge durability, plus a more polished surface finish quality for those demanding CNC milling jobs.
Made from premium solid carbide the CR2057.030-S also has CGS Tool’s original 55° high helix geometry, it helps with rapid chip evacuation , lowers cutting forces, and supports those aggressive feed rates. Then the .030" corner radius kind of reinforces the cutting edge, which helps minimize chipping and extend tool life, while still keeping excellent dimensional accuracy. Finally the ZrN coating boosts wear resistance, cuts down on built-up edge formation and generally improves machining results when you’re working with aluminum and other non-ferrous materials.
