The CGS Tool HV140-5001 has a 1/2” diameter 4-flute solid carbide square end mill, it’s built for high-performance machining when you’re working with steels and various alloys. It’s made within the Hi-Velocity (HV) Series and honestly it brings a strong mix of speed, durability , and precision, for both the roughing type work and the finishing type work too.
Made from premium micro-grain carbide, the HV140-5001 includes a variable helix and a variable index geometry, plus an ALTiN coating, so you get really strong heat resistance and longer tool life especially when the RPM is up. The free-cutting setup helps with surface quality and chip evacuation, it also reduces chatter and general abrasion , so machinists can push the feeds and speeds further, without losing accuracy.
