The CGS Tool HV140-5025 has a 1/2” diameter, 4-flute, solid carbide square end mill made for high-performance machining in steels and all sorts of alloys . It’s part of the Hi-Velocity (HV) Series, so it brings a kind of unmatched strength , speed and precision for both roughing, and that finer finishing work too.
Made from premium micro-grain carbide, the HV140-5025 has a variable helix ,and a variable index geometry with an ALTiN coating, which helps a lot with heat resistance and getting longer tool life especially when you run high RPM. The free-cutting design supports better surface finish and helps with chip evacuation, while also cutting down on vibration and wear.
