Product Overview
The CGS Tool HV142-1000 has a 1” diameter, 4 flute, solid carbide ball end mill made for high performance machining in steels and alloys. It's built as part of the Hi-Velocity (HV) Series, so you get that kind of strength, speed, and precision that works for roughing, and also for finishing work all the time.
Made from premium micro-grain carbide, the HV142-1000 comes with a variable helix, and a variable index style geometry too, plus an ALTiN coating, for real heat resistance and longer tool life when you run high RPM. The free-cutting design helps with surface finishes and chip evacuation while also keeping vibration and wear down, so machinists can keep pushing feeds and speeds further without losing accuracy, even when it gets aggressive.
