The CGS Tool HV142-7501 has a 3/4" diameter 4 flute solid carbide ball end mill, made for high performance machining in steels, and different alloys. It’s designed within the Hi-Velocity (HV) Series so you get that extra strength, speed, and precision for both roughing , and finishing work.
Made from premium micro-grain carbide, the HV142-7501 has a variable helix and a variable index shape, plus an ALTiN coating that helps with heat resistance and overall tool life especially when running high RPM. The free-cutting approach helps with smoother surface finishes and better chip evacuation , while also keeping vibration and wear lower so machinists can push feeds and speeds further without losing accuracy.
