The CGS Tool HV142-3750 has a 3/8” diameter, 4-flute, solid carbide ball end mill made for high-performance cutting in steels and alloys, you know. It comes from the Hi-Velocity (HV) Series, and it’s built to give serious strength, speed, and precision for both roughing plus finishing work.
It’s manufactured from premium micro grain carbide, and the HV142-3750 has a variable helix together with a variable index geometry. On top of that, there’s an ALTiN coating so you get better heat resistance and longer tool life when you’re running high RPM. The free-cutting design helps the surface come out smoother, and it also improves chip evacuation, while at the same time it reduces vibration and wear, so machinists can push feeds and speeds further without losing accuracy.
