The CGS Tool HV142-3125 has a 5/16” diameter 4-flute solid carbide ball end mill, built for high performance machining in steels and other alloys. It’s tied to the Hi-Velocity (HV) Series so it brings that extra strength ,speed, and pinpoint accuracy for both roughing and finishing jobs.
Made using premium micro-grain carbide, the HV142-3125 has a variable helix plus a variable index geometry, and then there’s the ALTiN coating for serious heat resistance, and longer tool life when you’re running high RPM. It’s a free-cutting style too, which helps with improved surface finish and chip evacuation, while also reducing vibration and wear allow machinists to push feeds, speeds even harder without losing accuracy.
