Product Overview
The CGS Tool HV142-3752, has a 3/8” diameter 4-flute solid carbide ball end mill built for serious high-performance cutting in steels and alloys. It’s part of the Hi-Velocity, or HV Series, and it brings this kind of unbeatable strength plus speed, along with that tight precision you want, for both roughing and finishing jobs.
Made from a premium micro-grain carbide blank, the HV142-3752 has a variable helix and a variable index style geometry, then it’s finished with an ALTiN coating which helps a lot with heat resistance and longer tool life even when the RPM gets high. The free cutting approach also helps with better surface finish and steadier chip evacuation, while still reducing chatter and wear, so machinists can push the feeds and speeds more aggressively without giving up accuracy.
