Product Overview
The CGS Tool HV142-5000 has a 1/2” diameter, 4-flute, solid carbide ball end mill, built up for high-performance work in steels and different alloys. It’s made as part of the Hi-Velocity (HV) Series so it brings serious strength, faster pace, and precise outcomes, for roughing too, and also for finishing tasks.
It’s manufactured using premium micro-grain carbide, and the HV142-5000 has a variable helix, plus a variable index style geometry, paired with an ALTiN coating so you get excellent heat resistance, and longer tool life when you’re running high RPM. The free-cutting style helps improve surface finishes and makes chip evacuation more smooth, while also keeping vibration and wear lower. so machinists can push the feeds and speeds further without giving up accuracy.
