The CGS Tool HV143-1875 has a 3/16” diameter, 4-flute, solid carbide corner radius end mill made for high-performance machining in steels and alloys. It comes out of the Hi-Velocity (HV) Series, so it’s built to provide this really solid balance of strength, speed, and precision whether you’re doing roughing or going for finishing, too.
Made from premium micro-grain carbide, the HV143-1875 features a variable helix and variable index geometry, plus an ALTiN coating for high heat resistance and longer tool life at high RPM. The free-cutting style also helps with surface finishes and chip evacuation, while at the same time cutting down on vibration and wear , so machinists can push the feeds and speeds further,without losing accuracy.
