The CGS Tool HV143-4375 has a 7/16” diameter, 4 flute solid carbide corner radius mill, built for high-performance machining when you’re working in steels and various alloys. It comes out of the Hi-Velocity (HV) Series , so it tends to bring that kind of strength, speed and precision that you usually want for both roughing AND the finishing side of things.
Made from really premium micro-grain carbide, the HV143-4375 uses a variable helix, plus a variable index layout, and there’s an ALTiN coating included which helps a lot with heat resistance and long tool life especially when you’re running at high RPMs. The free-cutting style helps with surface appearance and chip removal, while at the same time it cuts down on vibration and wear, so machinists can push feeds and speeds further without losing accuracy.
