The CGS Tool HV143-5001 has a 1/2” diameter, 4-flute, solid carbide corner radius end mill ,made for high-performance machining when you are working in steels and different alloys. It comes from the Hi-Velocity (HV) Series so it’s built to give that kind of strength ,speed, and pinpoint accuracy you want for both roughing and finishing work, without the usual compromises.
Made using premium micro-grain carbide, the HV143-5001 has a variable helix and a variable index geometry, plus an ALTiN coating that helps it handle heat better and last longer when you run high RPM. Also, its free-cutting style helps improve the surface results and keeps chips moving out efficiently, while at the same time reducing chatter, and cutting down on wear . That way machinists can really push the feeds and speeds forward, without losing accuracy.
