The CGS Tool HV143-5002 has a 1/2" diameter, 4-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill, made so you can do high performance machining, especially in steels and various alloys. It’s built for the Hi-Velocity (HV) Series, and it brings strength, speed, and precision that works well for both roughing and finishing tasks.
Made using premium micro-grain carbide, the HV143-5002 has a variable helix plus a variable index geometry, and then it’s finished with an ALTiN coating. That coating helps a lot with heat resistance and overall tool life, particularly when you’re running high RPM. The free cutting style helps the surface look cleaner and it supports chip evacuation too, while also reducing chatter, vibration, and wear, so machinists can push feeds and speeds more aggressively without giving up accuracy.
