The CGS Tool HV240-2500 has a 1/4” diameter, 4-flute solid carbide square end mill made for high-performance cutting in steels and alloys. It’s built under the Hi-Velocity (HV) Series, so it gives you that kind of strength, speed, and precision you don’t really see elsewhere, for both the roughing work and the final surfacing jobs.
Made from premium micro-grain carbide, the HV240-2500 features a variable helix and variable index geometry, plus an ALTiN coating for superior heat resistance and longer tool life at high RPM. The free-cutting design helps achieve a smoother surface finish and chip clearance, while also reducing vibration and wear. So machinists can really push feeds and speeds further without sacrificing accuracy or control.
