Product Overview
The CGS Tool HV240-6250 has a 5/8” diameter, 4-flute, solid carbide square end mill, made for high-performance cutting, especially in steels and alloys. It sits in the Hi-Velocity (HV) series, so it tends to bring that sort of unmatched strength, faster motion, and real accuracy for both roughing and finishing jobs.
Made from top-shelf micro-grain carbide, the HV240-6250 features a variable helix and variable index geometry, and it’s finished with an ALTiN coating, so it handles heat way better and keeps running longer even at high RPM. The free-cutting style also improves surface finish and chip removal while reducing vibration and overall wear. So machinists can push the feeds and speeds further, without losing accuracy.
