Product Overview
The CGS Tool HV240-3750 has a 3/8” diameter 4-flute solid carbide square end mill, made for that high-performance kind of cutting in steels and different alloys. It’s built under the Hi-Velocity (HV) Series, and it kind of brings this strong mix of speed, strength, and precision, whether you’re doing roughing or that more delicate finishing work.
The HV240-3750 is made from premium micro-grain carbide, with a variable helix and a variable index layout, and an ALTiN coating on top. That combination improves heat resistance and gives better tool life, especially when you’re running at higher RPM. Also, the free-cutting design improves surface quality and chip removal; it reduces vibration and ongoing wear, too. So machinists can push feeds and speeds harder without sacrificing the kind of accuracy you actually want.
