The CGS Tool HV240-4375 has a 7/16” diameter, 4-flute solid carbide square end mill that’s built for high-performance machining when you’re working with steels and other alloys. It comes from the Hi-Velocity (HV) Series, and really gives you that strong, quick, precise result for both roughing and finishing , even when you’re pushing the job.
Made with premium micro-grain carbide, the HV240-4375 uses a variable helix plus variable index geometry, and it has an ALTiN coating for really solid heat resistance and longer tool life while running at high RPM. The free-cutting setup helps improve surface finishing, and it supports chip evacuation too while also keeping vibration and wear lower, so machinists can run higher feeds and speeds, and still keep accuracy where they want it.
