The CGS Tool M2155-S is a 18mm diameter, 2 flute solid carbide square end mill meant for high speed machining in aluminum, non ferrous metals, plastics, and even composite materials. As part of the 2000 Series Ferocious , this fast cutting tool delivers strong chip evacuation, pretty aggressive material removal, and steady machining results for tough CNC milling tasks
Built out of premium solid carbide , the M2155-S uses CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry. That shape is aimed at maximizing chip flow , lowering cutting forces, and helping with higher feed rates at the same time. The square end design is there for cleaner, more accurate cuts, so it works well for slotting, pocketing, profiling, contouring, and finishing type operations. You also get a 38mm length of cut and a 100mm overall length, which gives it extra reach for deeper machining jobs while still keeping solid rigidity, plus good stability. On top of that, the ZrN coating boosts wear resistance, helps limit built up edge formation, and supports better cutting performance specifically when machining aluminum and other non ferrous materials
