The CGS Tool M2206-S is a 6mm diameter, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill meant for high speed machining of aluminum, non-ferrous metals, plastics, and even composite materials. And, it comes from the 2000 Series Ferocious, it’s supposed to give good chip evacuation, aggressive material removal rates, and dependable machining results for CNC milling stuff that gets pretty demanding.
It’s made from solid carbide, premium stuff, and the M2206-S includes CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry, this kind of design helps with chip flow, it tends to lower cutting forces , and it supports those faster feed rates. The square end design is for cleaner and more accurate cutting, so it’s a fit for slotting, pocketing, profiling , contouring, and finishing in general.
