The CGS Tool M2206-S, is a 6mm diameter, two flute solid carbide square end mill, made for high speed machining of aluminium, non ferrous metals, plastics, and composite materials. It’s in the 2000 Series Ferocious lineup, and well, it’s designed around aggressive material removal, steady chip evacuation, and dependable running even when the CNC milling job gets pretty tough.
The solid carbide body is paired with CGS Tool’s own 55° high helix geometry, and that combo is meant to help the chip flow stay smooth, keep cutting forces lower, and let you push higher feed rates. With the square end design you get crisp and accurate cuts, so it’s useful for slotting, pocketing, profiling, contouring, and also those finishing jobs. Plus it can go deeper into workpieces, while still keeping rigidity and stability, the length of cut is 32mm and the overall length sits at 75mm.
