The CGS Tool 2000-S has a diameter of 9/64”, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill that’s made for maximum material removal, and also sharp surface precision especially in aluminum, non-ferrous materials, and plastics. The tool belongs to the Ferocious Series, which aims at machinists who want fast results, even when they push the feed rates to a more extreme phase.
The tool is made from premium sub micro grain carbide, the 2000-S has a 55° high helix that helps with better chip evacuation, fewer cutting forces, and really clean surface outcomes. Its polished cutting edges, plus a free-cutting geometry, work to reduce built-up edges, while still keeping an exceptional tool life. This stays true even with high speed CNC use, where consistency really matters.
