Product Overview
The CGS Tool 2000 has a 9/64” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill, made for removing higher amounts of material and surface precision in aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and even plastics. It comes from the Ferocious Series, and it’s built for machinists who want high performance while running at extreme feed rates.
It’s manufactured from premium sub-micro grain carbide, and the 2000 also has 55° high helix, for better chip evacuation, less cutting force, and really solid surface finishes. The polished cutting edges and free-cutting geometry help minimize built-up edges, while still keeping tool life exceptionally well, even when you’re doing high-speed CNC work.
