Product Overview
The CGS Tool 2036-S has a 1/2” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill. It is made for max material removal plus pretty fine surface precision especially in aluminum , non-ferrous metals , and plastics. It comes from the ferocious series, and it feels aimed at machinists who want high performance at these extreme feed rates.
It’s manufactured using premium sub-micro grain carbide, and the 2036-S has a 55° high helix thing for better chip evacuation, less cutting force, and really nice surface finishes. The polished cutting edges along with a free-cutting geometry help reduce built-up edge, but it still keeps a strong tool life, even when you’re running high-speed CNC applications.
