Product Overview
The CGS Tool 2036 has a 1/2” diameter, 2-flute solid carbide square end mill. It is made for maximum material removal and that extra surface precision thing in aluminum, non ferrous metals, and plastics. It comes from the ferocious series, so it’s really meant for machinists who want high output even when they run at extreme feed rates.
Made with premium sub micro grain carbide , the 2036 uses a 55° high helix, for better chip evacuation, lower cutting forces, and really nice surface finishes. The polished cutting edges and its free cutting geometry help reduce built up edge, while still keeping an excellent tool life, even with high speed CNC work.
