Product Overview
The CGS Tool HV143-1252 has a 1/8” diameter, 4-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill, sort of built for high-performance machining in steels and alloys. It’s part of the Hi-Velocity (HV) Series, and it’s aimed at giving you serious strength, speed, and precision for both roughing and finishing work too.
Made from premium micro-grain carbide, the HV143-1252 features a variable helix and variable index geometry. On top of that, it’s treated with an ALTiN coating so you get great heat resistance and a longer tool life, even when the RPMs are high. The free-cutting style helps improve surface finish and chip evacuation, while also keeping vibration down and wear minimized, which means machinists can push feeds and speeds further without losing accuracy.
