The CGS Tool HV143-3752 has a 3/8” diameter 4-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill made for serious high-performance machining in steels and different alloys. It’s built up inside the Hi-Velocity (HV) Series, so it can bring this whole combination of strength, speed, and precision for roughing ,as well as the more detailed finishing jobs.
Made with a top quality micro-grain carbide, the HV143-3752 has a variable helix plus a variable index style geometry. Then you get the ALTiN coating for real heat resistance, and longer tool life when you run it at high RPM. The free-cutting style helps with nicer surface finish, and chip evacuation too while also keeping vibration and wear more controlled allowing machinists to push the feeds and speeds further, without giving up accuracy.
